BrightEye 81 3G / HD / SD SDI to HDMI Converter
Convert HD or SD SDI video feeds to HDMI with the BrightEye 81. Convenient for feeding a video monitor, BrightEye 81 provides a reliable way to achieve confidence monitoring in post and broadcast applications.
BrightEye 81 is an SDI to HDMI converter for use with standard definition video signals and 3 Gb/s and 1.5 Gb/s high definition signals. The HDMI output is not HDCP encrypted. The video input is also reclocked and output on a BNC
connector.
For facilities using 3G the issue of monitoring the signal becomes a challenge. The BrightEye 81 provides a convenient way to monitor any type of digital video signal. A 3G video signal can be easily viewed via the HDMI output.
BrightEye 81 also functions as a Dual Link to 3 Gb/s converter. When the input is Dual Link RGB 444 the output will be the 3G version of that data.
Signal monitoring and control is provided through the included BrightEye Mac or PC software.
